Other RulesThanks so much for your interest in our place! We just know you're going to love it because we sure do.

There are few things to note about your stay that we want to make sure all guests are aware of.

- All pet requests must go through us for approval as we will only allow one potty-trained dog per stay for a $200 fee. Sorry, no cats.

- Absolutely *NO* animals of any kind are allowed in the pool. This includes service animals. This is for sanitary reasons. (We're sure you can understand that.)

- The pool is only available from June to October. The pool can be heated for guests who request this and are staying at least 3 nights for a nightly fee of $50, paid up front, to heat the pool up to 80 degrees. (Sorry guys, but propane is expensive these days!)

- EXCESS TRASH FEE: I know this may seem silly, but we’ve had guests leave over 20 bags of trash after only 1 weekend!
If you have more than 5 bags of trash and recycling you must take it with you when you depart or there will be an extra $200.

- Trash/recycling pickup: Trash pick up is on Thursday mornings, so if you're staying over this time period, please secure any trash and recycling in provided bags and place them in the outside trash cans next to the barn/garage on Wednesday night.

- There is no smoking of any kind inside the house or the barn. A minimum additional deep cleaning fee of $250 will be required if there is any smoking inside the house. This includes hookah, weed, etc. (The next guest doesn't want to smell whatever the last guest was doing. Just saying!)

- If someone smokes outside, we ask that they clean up after themselves and not leave any evidence of it when checking out.

- No parties with unregistered guests. We say it in our listing but, still, people don't listen. :-(
Doing so will result in being escorted from the property immediately.

-$500 charge for any person staying at the house over the agreed number. We are reasonable and flexible. If you know you have extra guests, please just let us know ahead of time and we can work something out.

- All of the arcade games are free to play as much as you want.

- While there is *plenty* of room to sleep, spread out, and lounge in the loft areas of the house and barn, guests should take care when going up and down the stairs, as the ceilings over the steps are sloped and the headroom is limited. Taller members of your party might prefer to stay on the main floor for ease of access.

- TOILETS/WATER- we have a really good, working SEPTIC system but it will clog up if improper material is flushed. Please DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper through our toilets! Unclogging or replacement of the pumps is very expensive and you could be charged for plumbing services.

- In wintertime, we recommend a 4 wheel drive car, as our driveway is slightly uphill. Icy conditions are possible and snow can happen anytime before our snow plowing service arrives to get things cleared and salted.

- Although we are extremely diligent in our pest control, when it gets really cold out, occasionally a mouse may try to get inside to seek warmth. The best way to keep them away is to wipe all crumbs off the counters and to safely store food in cupboards, meaning the use of Tupperware for open food boxes and pet food containers, or store open items in the refrigerator. If you see a mouse (EEK!), please make us aware so we can alert our maintenance company.

- If you have any issues during your stay please don't hesitate to let us know so that we can address them to the best of our ability.
